Camilo Valencia is the co-founder and managing partner at Valencia & Torres Law, PLLC. Mr. Valencia is actively responsible for overseeing and managing all the bodily injury and civil litigation cases at the firm. These cases include motor vehicle accidents, motorcycle accidents, trucking accidents, pedestrian accidents, construction accidents, and premises liability (slip and fall & trip and fall) cases.

As a Florida licensed attorney, Mr. Valencia’s goal has been to zealously pursue the legal rights of victims who have been injured by the negligence of others. As a young attorney in the competitive field of personal injury law, Mr. Valencia has handled, settled millions of dollars, and litigated over 200 cases of cases on behalf of injured victims in the State of Florida, since 2017.

Mr. Valencia also focuses on business and corporate law, specializing in counseling small businesses, start-ups, and individuals in protecting their interest and anticipating potential legal troubles and how to prevent them.

Mr. Valencia attended St. Thomas University School of Law where he took on many roles, which included being a member of the St. Thomas Law Review, Vice President of Membership to the Trial Team, clerked for the Honorable Samantha R. Cohen at the Eleventh Judicial Circuit Court of Florida, and graduated top 10 percent of his class, Cum Laude. At St. Thomas School of Law, he was elected by the faculty to the prestigious national honorary society, Order of the Barrister. Order of the Barrister is a national honorary society that promotes excellence in moot court, mock trial, and other advocacy programs. Members of the faculty elect nine students to the organization each year, basing their selection on the candidates’ overall contributions to the moot court and trial advocacy programs.

Jennifer Torres was born in Cuba and raised in Miami, Florida. Ms. Torres attended St. Thomas University and graduated with a dual degree in International Relations and Political Science. After completing her Bachelor’s Degree in just three years, Ms. Torres attended St. Thomas University School of Law. During her studies at STU, Ms. Torres received several honors, including The Order of Barristers Award and the Cali Excellence for the Future Book Award in Evidence, Trial Advocacy Practice, and Bar Prep Skills.

Ms. Torres’ passion for litigation led her to serve as Vice President of Competition to the St. Thomas Trial Team, where she was able to participate in various trial competitions throughout Miami and Washington D.C. Ms. Torres clerked for The Honorable Jose M. Rodriguez at the Eleventh Judicial Circuit Court of Florida and graduated top 10% of her class, Cum Laude.

Ms. Torres began her legal career at Legal Services of Greater Miami, where she assisted low-income individuals with legal problems, including employment discrimination, unfair healthcare debt collection, bankruptcy to discharge medical debt and public benefits. Upon leaving Legal Services, Ms. Torres worked for various law firms, acquiring experience in the areas of Family Law, Criminal Defense, and Personal Injury Protection. Ms. Torres advocates vigorously on behalf of her clients to ensure that they receive the best individualized legal representation throughout Florida.
